Loenbro was one of the primary subcontractors on a multi-year modernization project for one of the largest companies in the Food & Beverage industry. Our team was initially enlisted as a strategic local partner in December of 2022 to complete the fabrication, welding, and installation of stainless-steel (food-grade) DIN piping for the backbone of the facility. The customer experienced Loenbro’s strong values of safety, quality and execution, as well as a solution-oriented partner mentality to support the intricacies of the modernization project.  As the project progressed, the customer began to lean further into the relationship with Loenbro and leveraged our broad service offering to execute the remainder of the needed scopes for the project, including process electrical, scaffolding, and insulation. In totality, the onsite team executed the following as part of the modernization project:

• Installed, Insulated, Labeled, and Tested over 160,500’ (roughly 30.5 miles) of stainless-steel tubing
• Executed over 17,500 Orbital, Autogenous Welds Abiding by Sanitary Standards
• Installed over 2,500 Structural Steel Racks
• Set over 350 Pieces of Process Equipment
• Controlled and Tested over 661,000’ of Power and Control Cables
• Landed over 43,500 Terminations
• Ran over 39,000’ of Pneumatic Tubing
• Set over 80 Cabinets
• Safely Managed over 400 Self-performing Craft Employees Throughout the Duration, Including Multiple Crafts such as Welders, Electricians, Scaffold Builders, Insulators, and More

Loenbro leveraged this modernization project into a more permanent relationship with the customer, which has resulted in additional opportunities for maintenance and upgrades of other facilities up and down the supply chain.
