PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

  • Three new MCC sections, along with an 4000A ATS, Back -up Generator, Utility Transformer, and a CT Cabinet.
  • Over 300 feet each of a 1600A bus duct and a 4000A bus duct.
  • Over 10 Miles of Multi-conductor cable ranging from 3/C#12 to #1000Kcmil along with Megger Testing, Hipot testing, and terminations as required.
  • Installation of miscellaneous 480V Power Panels, Lighting Panels, step down transformers along with a combined 538 Light fixtures, convenience outlets and welding receptacles.
  • Cable tray installation to provide raceways interconnecting the three buildings and internal raceways for conduit drops to multiple Power, Control and Instrument devices.
  • Heat Trace installation for all outside interconnect Process, Water and Air piping.
  • Temporary power throughout the facility.
  • Installation of seven DCS cabinets with a fiber network interconnecting to a new control room and an existing control room approximately 3 miles away.
  • Over 15 miles of Instrument cables pulled, tested, and terminated.
  • Instrument air tubing to 87 air actuated valves.
  • Loop Checks for up to 250 devices.
  • Commissioning and Start-Up for 33 Systems

The scope also included a design-build for many systems throughout the three buildings, and Critical Project controls regarding P6 scheduling, lookaheads, productivity tracking and weekly budget reporting.
